Privacy Policy

The short version

You upload a document, we translate it, you download it. We do not store your documents, we do not create accounts, and we do not sell data. The full details are below.

Documents you upload

Documents are processed in memory only. We do not save uploaded files or translated output to disk, a database, or any backup. Once your download completes, the document is gone from our servers.

To produce the translation, the text content of your document is sent to Anthropic’s Claude API. Anthropic does not use API data to train its models by default; its handling and retention of API inputs and outputs are governed by the Anthropic Privacy Policy and its commercial terms. Only the document text is transmitted — images and other embedded media in your file are never sent anywhere; they pass through untouched on our server.

School documents often contain personal information — student names, birth dates, health details. Because we store nothing, that information exists on our systems only for the seconds the translation takes. Even so: if a document is highly sensitive, you are trusting us and Anthropic for that processing window, and you should only upload documents you are authorized to handle.

Children’s privacy

This service is for adults — parents, guardians, and school staff. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Documents that mention students are uploaded by, and remain the responsibility of, the adult who uploads them.

What we log

• Rate limiting: we keep IP addresses in server memory, for at most one hour, to enforce the per-hour upload limit. They are not written to disk.
• Hosting logs: our hosting provider may keep standard access logs (IP address, URL, timestamp) for security and operations. These never include document contents.
• No analytics: we currently run no analytics or tracking scripts. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.

Cookies and advertising

The translation tool itself sets no cookies. Guide pages may display advertising served by Google AdSense. When ads are shown, Google and its partners may use cookies or device identifiers to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads depending on your Google settings. You can control ad personalization at adssettings.google.com, and learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Ads never appear in translated documents, and no document content is shared with advertisers.

Your choices and rights

Since we store no documents and no accounts, there is nothing for us to delete or export on request — the data is already gone. For questions about this policy, or anything you believe we hold about you, contact us and we will respond.

Changes

If we change how data is handled — adding analytics, accounts, or storage — we will update this page and change the date at the top before the change takes effect.
